We are currently looking to hire a CTO for a highly established business in Ireland.
This is a strategic hire for the business that has gone through a sustained period of growth, organically and through acquisition.
A multitude of systems are within the business as a result, and the role of the CTO will be to future proof the systems, streamlining where possible and adding where necessary to ensure the tech offering remains consistent with the business growth plans.
Reporting directly to the CEO, and starting with a small team of direct reports, you will liaise with existing vendors and grow your team accordingly, bringing in expertise where required.

Key skills and experience for this role:
  • Background having done full systems Audit
  • Business Process Audit
  • Post audit recommendations of planning, direction, systems, vendors, hiring....
  • Be able to work across several businesses within the Company and provide an overarching IT function to meet demands
  • Forward Thinking person - able to look at where the business is and whats needed to meet growth yoy in 4-5 years' time, and enjoy this challenge
  • Experience building a Tech Vision for the organisation, for all business Units.
  • CTO needs to be a strong character to prioritise changes for the overall success of the Group.
  • Happy to work in the office with a small amount of travel in Ireland as required to successfully do the job
  • Stakeholder Management up and down Board level, vendors, staff, business unit heads
  • Sleeves up mentality mindset of a doer, not sat at a desk all day
