Realtime recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst for a permanent position based in Dublin City Centre. This client is a key player in the financial services space with huge opportunity for growth and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating closely with business users and department heads to understand issues and identify system and process solutions.
  • Proactively identifying organizational impacts resulting from new business processes or system deployments.
  • Developing business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation to support systems initiatives.
  • Coordinating with IT teams and external vendors to determine the most effective approach for delivering the requirements.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure project deliverables and addressing day-to-day concerns or issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert by maintaining a detailed knowledge base of business operations, processes, data flows, and systems in the supported areas.
  • Configuring, enhancing, and maintaining systems within the defined scope, aligning them with business requirements and the product roadmap.
  • Providing high-quality support for the designated applications and assisting business teams in investigating queries to achieve satisfactory resolutions or escalating when necessary.
  • Drafting comprehensive test scripts and use cases to validate successful changes, collaborating closely with IT teams and business users to design and execute test plans.
  • Supporting the business readiness phase of projects by reviewing processes and procedures, creating training materials, scheduling training sessions, facilitating post-implementation reviews, and capturing lessons learned.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in a technically complex environment.
  • Ability to maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at various levels across the organization.
  • Strong experience in evaluating and selecting third-party solutions.
  • Strong experience in managing third-party solution providers.
  • Strong experience in IT project management, playing a key role in successful projects.
  • Knowledge of financial markets across front office, back office, HR, and pension systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI/Tableau and proficiency in SQL query skills.
  • Project Management certifications (Prince or PMP) are advantageous.
