Realtime Recruitment are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Data background to work in a permanent hybrid role based in Dublin.

You will have experience working in Financial or Insurance industries. The right person would come from a technical background, working on projects in a large enterprise environment, with the ability to take on a wide variety of assignments. We are specifically looking for an individual with a Data Architecture background to aid in providing focus for our Data architectural practices.

Key responsibilities

• Progress data architecture and designs for application and infrastructure projects.
• Bestow to the strategic direction of data architecture across enterprise architecture.
• Ensure solutions adhere to present and future business objectives.

• Provide clear, concise data models needed to develop solutions that unlock business value.
• Probe architectural data requirements for all projects around the collection, cleansing, storage, sharing and use of data.
• Work cross-functionally to integrate a modern BI tools and approaches with legacy data warehouses.
• Design the architecture of a typical toolbox of data technologies and communicate this design to a broad audience.
• Provide architectural direction on the technical aspects of data engineering and analytics.
• Research develop & implement architectural best practice for data.
• Culpability for the conceptual & logical data models used across the change portfolio.
• Support many and varied use-cases across MI, analysis and data science.
• Work alongside data engineers, data scientists, developers, analysts and business users.

Essential Skills and Experience;

• 5+ years architecture experience.
• Architectural experience in Azure & AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity of data, databases, and data technologies including AI, Client, ETL, BI.
• You know how to prototype in collaboration, to better understand a business problem.
• You will have worked within a recognised application/service delivery process and understand the importance of Change Management, Testing and Documentation.
• Candidates must have experience in producing architectural and design documentation.
• Candidates must have a good knowledge of current Application, Infrastructure and Security Frameworks.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies;
  • MS Azure cloud environment.
  • Kubernetes/Docker.
  • AIX, Microsoft Windows Server
  • SQL Server & Oracle & MY SQL
  • IBM TAM/TIM, Active Directory,
  • J2EE

Knowledge of the finance or insurance industry a plus.
