The Product Manager Role
The Product Manager will join a new 'start-up' team in an established business area. You will be responsible for maximizing the profitability of the current products, and building brand-new ones. You will develop the product vision and work with your teams to bring this vision into reality. The Product Manager role is both technical and commercial in nature.
-Understand your product and where it sits in the market
-Understand your customers + identify potential customers
-Conduct market + competitor research (data-driven decision making)
-Gather user feedback
-Pricing of new features / products
-Develop + drive the product roadmap
-Communicate product requirements (Epics, user stories)
-Prioritise features for development
-Work with Client to define release requirements
-Work with Architects to advance functional + non-functional aspects of your product
Your Skills + Experience
To succeed in this exciting new role, you will have at least 5 years' experience in full-lifecycle software Product Management (from concept to build + shipping). You well have a great understanding of Agile product development.  Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment. Your role will include line-management duties, so management experience will be useful.
