What do you do at Realtime?

I work on the Software Development and Engineering desk.

Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I am a Sports addicted, yoga teacher and callisthenics athlete.

Can you describe your career journey so far?

For seven years, I worked in Marketing and Advertising in my home country, Brazil. Afterwards, I moved to Ireland where I transitioned to Hospitality and worked as an Events Manager for the Dylan McGrath Group for a few years. Then, I became the Assistant General Manager at The Ivy Dublin before finally deciding to make a career shift into the field of recruitment.

What is the best thing about working at Realtime?

Working with a wonderful team and being able to help nice people get good jobs!

What is one piece of career advice you could give?

It’s never too late to challenge yourself and try something new.

What does your typical day look like?

Screening candidates, speaking with candidates and clients, preparing CVs, preparing candidates for interviews, and business development.

What inspires you to come in (or log on) everyday?

Helping nice people find life-changing jobs.

Advice for someone who wants to work in recruitment?

Resilience and organisation are the keys to the game. Stay at it.

Advice for someone who wants to work in tech (or any insight into your vertical)?

Keep moving and keep learning new technologies. Expand your knowledge and skillset to stay up to date with the market.
