I play the piano.

Can you describe your career journey so far?

I graduated as a primary school teacher 5 months ago but decided I wanted to try something different. I’ve been in tech recruitment for just over a month now and I am loving the change!

What is the best thing about working at Realtime?

The craic! Everyone gets on so well and there’s always laughter in the office. Everyone has also been so welcoming and helpful to me whilst I’ve been settling in, it’s been lovely. 🙂

What is one piece of career advice you could give?

Amazing opportunities don’t come to those who wait…they come to those who keep their LinkedIn profile up to date!

What does your typical day look like?

At the minute I’m working on roles with Chris (who has been the world’s best and most patient trainer), so my typical day involves anything from some sourcing on LinkedIn, candidate calls, candidate management, creating canvas, writing and posting job adverts and then calling Chris about 20 times a day to ask him any question that pops into my head.

Advice for someone who wants to work in recruitment?

Work in Realtime! You are not left to drown in CVs and LinkedIn messages, you will be supported from day one by the whole team and receive top-notch training. The only silly questions here are the ones you don’t ask!
