Can you describe your career journey so far?

Graduated from National College of Ireland- with a Bachelor of Commerce, specialising in Human Resources & Marketing. Prior to starting in IT recruitment, my background was in Sales and customer service.

Started with Realtime Recruitment in January 2014, focusing on the development and designer market as a Recruitment Consultant and now I am the contract manager to a team of Great Little Recruiters- Gary, Josie & Brian.

What is the best thing about working at Realtime?

The people. We have a great team that is very collaborative and supportive and everyone want everyone to do well.

What is one piece of career advice you could give?

I would prioritise continuous learning and skill development. By actively seeking opportunities to learn new skills, stay updated on industry trends, and adapt to emerging technologies, you can enhance your employability and stay ahead in your career.

Best piece advice for aspiring leaders?

Quite like my career advice, I feel leaders need to foster self-awareness and embrace continuous personal growth.

Effective leadership starts from within, and understanding your strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations is crucial for leading others successfully.
