I met Usher in Las Vegas before one of his shows.

Can you describe your career journey so far?

My career journey so far has been varied. I started my career in Brussels, specialising in communications and events. I wanted to take many of those transferable skills and channel them into something more rewarding.

Tech recruitment provided me with the opportunity to do exactly that! I love being able to help candidates on their career journeys. While I am new to the recruitment game, I am excited to see what the future holds!

What is the best thing about working at Realtime?

The people! It is rare to work with such a talented group of people. The comradery is something that I really love about this company. I came to Belfast not knowing anyone and the people at Realtime really welcomed me with open arms.

What is one piece of career advice you could give?

Stay consistent and be persistent! You will have good days and you will have bad days throughout your career, but if you keep putting in the work – you separate yourself from a lot of people who give up when things get hard. I believe that resilience and tenacity will take you far in your career!

What inspires you to come in (or log on) everyday?

Creating a beautiful family home. Everyone needs a why! This is my reason to come in and work hard everyday.

How do you stay motivated?

I often look at this picture that I have of my dream home. If I don’t have the picture handy, I imagine it. That is what I am working towards and I know I will get there. Consistency is the key!
