Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

Whilst backpacking in Australia, I had an array of labouring jobs – Demolition, Glazing and even some scaffolding.

Can you describe your career journey so far?

I started my journey in recruitment over six years ago in the RPO sector. Gaining experience with large clients in the technology and engineering sector. Eventually, I transitioned to in-house roles within Fintech and Banking. So far in my career, I have recruited for roles in 9 countries. Recently, I’ve joined the wonderful team at Realtime 😊

What is the best thing about working at Realtime?

What is one piece of career advice you could give?

Continuously improve and expand your skills. The Technology field is evolving rapidly due to technological advancements and market changes. To stay relevant and competitive, it’s essential to keep learning and developing new skills.

What inspires you to come in (or log on) every day?

The competitive and challenging nature of recruitment is what drives me. Sourcing candidates, negotiating deals, and closing placements provide a sense of achievement.

How do you stay motivated?

Goal Setting: Setting clear, achievable goals helps to stay focused and motivated.

Advice for someone who wants to work in tech?

Focus on building strong relationships with clients, candidates, and colleagues. Technology is a vital part of modern recruitment, so make sure to stay updated with recruitment software and other tech tools. Confidence and negotiation skills are key, and investing in continuous learning and career development will help you excel.
