We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer on behalf of a client on a contract basis in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead DevOps initiatives and drive automation across our Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments across multiple environments
• Lead release management processes and coordinate complex multi-org deployments
• Establish and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code promotion
• Implement automated testing frameworks and ensure high-quality code deployment
• Manage Salesforce metadata and data migration processes
• Configure and maintain DevOps tools and platforms (Copado, AutoRABIT, Salesforce DevOps Center, or similar)
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment processes and reduce manual effort
• Monitor system performance and implement monitoring/alerting solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
• Ensure compliance with security standards and governance policies
• Document processes, procedures, and architectural decisions

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps experience
• Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
• Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as:
• Copado, AutoRABIT, Gearset, Flosum, or Salesforce DevOps Center
• Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and Salesforce DX project structure
• Proficient in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Apex tests, Selenium, Provar, etc.)
• Understanding of Salesforce security model and best practices
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or DevOps specialist certifications preferred)

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, Datadog)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Field Service, or Industry Clouds
• Experience with data integration tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend)
