Business Analyst (Web Team)

The Company
The Business Analyst will join a small, establish NI Tech firm with an impressive client base. They are a team of 50-something experts, dedicated to delivering amazing software that adds value to their customers. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a people-centric, indigenous business that punches way above its weight.

The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will join the 8-strong web team and work on exciting Agile Projects. You will be working on Content Management Systems (Kentico/Umbraco). The Business Analyst will hold workshops with the client to understand their functional requirements and document them for engineers. You will manage and triage change controls and prioritise features for development. You will also manage project scope and create UAT plans, as well as being given the opportunity to undertake project management of smaller projects.

Skills and Experience
The Business Analyst will ideally have:
  • Any web / CMS experience
  • 2-4 years' experience in a software BA role
  • Experience using Project Management tools (DevOps, JIRA etc).
  • Competency in producing user stories and managing requirements through the SDLC
It would be great if you had experience wearing the PM hat also, or have an interest in doing so.
