Project Manager - CloudTech FDI (Remote)

County Antrim
*New-entrant alert* We are delighted to present the latest and greatest US Cloud-Tech firm that is taking the market by storm. They are looking for their first NI-based Project Manager.
Who are they?
They have a suite of breakthrough products in the Cloud Technologies space and empower businesses around the world. Luckily for you, they have chosen Belfast as their next engineering hub! They enjoy huge backing and investment, and are set to establish a talented Belfast team in the coming months. There's no office yet, so you'll work from home until they get a swanky working space in the city centre.
The Project Manager Role
Having recently appointed a 'Head of Project Management' in the US, they are looking to grow their Project Management capability in Europe. The Project Manager is a client-facing role and you will be the bridge between your teams and client, executing the project plan on each account. You will operate across 3 product areas and will be responsible for the successful planning, management and deployment of multiple projects simultaneously (high volume of short projects). Using Google Monday, you will coordinate global engineering teams to keep projects on track. You will hold meetings and build successful relationships with teams and clients.
Your Skills + Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have 3+ years' experience in a software/tech project manager role. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced product development environment with cross-functional teams. You will have excellent organisation, planning and stakeholder-management skills. It would be great if you had a level of technical knowledge (SDLC, Cloud Technologies). Due to the global nature of the business, you will need to be flexible to accommodate different time-zones.
You Get
The Project Manager will be amongst the first hires in Northern Ireland; joining a fast-paced tech scale-up that is set to grow exponentially. You will get exposure to a range of cutting-edge technologies and work with high calibre engineers. Unlike other process-heavy PM roles, the focus here is all about building great tech and delivering for customers. You will deal with leading Technology companies all over the world. When restrictions permit, you will have the opportunity to travel to the US a few times a year! Salary is negotiable; they are paying market rate – "and then some”!
